Who We Are
Enduring Hope Church was birthed out of a call, vision and compassion for the World God loves. In 1993, the Lord called pastor Nazaret into ministry while he was working in the garment industry and climbing the ladder of success. In 1994, pastor Nazaret started attending Bible school on part time bases, he graduated in 2006 from The King's University with a Bachelor's in Theological studies. He was an active member at The Church On The Way, Van Nuys, involved in various ministries; Prayer Room, Children's Ministry, Home Group leader and pastor for the Armenian Fellowship. During those years he met his future wife Sona and they were married in 2002. The Lord gave this couple tremendous love towards people to make them spiritual father and mother for many. In 2013 after a very rare health challenge that almost cost him his life, pastor Nazaret gave up his career and dedicated his life to full time ministry.
Enduring Hope Church, exists for touching lives and ministering to the spirit, soul and body. Jesus still saves, heals and offers freedom to help us walk in victory. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. At Enduring Hope Church we are God's vessels to accomplish the mission assigned to us, as we rely daily on the power of the Holy Spirit. Our Vision
Enduring Hope Church is all about Jesus and the people He loves. We are here to touch lives and minister healing to the spirit, soul and body. We are privileged to preach the gospel, pray in the name of Jesus, and see the transforming power of the Holy Spirit in action. We are called to love our Heavenly Father and love those who are created in His image. We labor to advance His Kingdom, and bring glory and honor to His Holy name. He is worthy and deserves all the glory.
Our vision is to see many saved by the grace offered by Jesus and to operate in the power of the Holy Spirit for transformation of the soul and healing of the body. Only transformed individuals bring transformation to their families, communities and nation. Our vision is to see the youth freed from addictions, broken families restored, and communities and cities united with the love of God. Our vision is to see unity and love everywhere. And for that we first need to receive the love of the Heavenly Father.
What We Believe
God, we believe that the God of the Bible is the only true, eternal and self-existing God. He is the Creator of all things in heaven and the deep seas. He revealed Himself in three Persons - Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Three Persons of the Trinity are coexistent, coeternal and coequal in divine perfection. Each distinct person, but different in function.
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He came from Heaven, lived a sinless life, and took the sin of mankind on Himself. Jesus died on the cross, to pay our debt, rose from the dead, and ascended into Heaven. He will return again in glory to rule and judge.
The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son. He executes the will of God on earth, by leading in truth, guiding, filling, teaching, comforting and convicting. He dwells in every believer from the time of salvation. He empowers believers with gifts for building the church, and bearing fruit.
The Bible is the infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe that all Scripture found in the Bible is reliable for reproving, correcting and instructing in the way of life and is unchangeable in nature. The Bible is the ultimate authority and source of truth for Christian living. Both Old and New Testaments are the Word of God.
Salvation, Man was created in the image of God, destined to enjoy an intimate relationship with Him. Adam and Eve’s willful disobedience, infected humanity with sin. Jesus is the only way to receive salvation through repentance and faith in Christ. Salvation is a gift of God and cannot be earned, it is the grace of God offered freely to everyone.
Church - Jesus is the Head of the Church, the Body of believers, who acknowledge their sin, repent and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. They are led by the Holy Spirit to live in daily sanctification as they obey God’s instruction. The Holy Spirit dwells in each believer and enables them to live a godly life.
Mission - Believers are commissioned to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the world. Jesus commanded us to become His witnesses, by preaching the Gospel and making disciples. Jesus gave His church the power to stand against the kingdom of darkness, by praying for the sick and casting out demons.
Baptism and Communion - The Bible teaches us to practice water baptism and communion. Jesus commanded all those who believe to be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Baptism is a public act to identify our lives with Christ’s death and resurrection. Communion is a time of remembering Christ’s sacrifice and redemption.
Judgment Day - When Jesus returns to earth at the end of the age. He will judge every person based on the decisions they made during their life on earth. Whoever’s name is written in the Book of Life will receive eternal life and the rest will be eternally condemned. God wants everyone to be saved, but only through free will we could choose that option.
